That same day Jesus left the house and sat by the Sea of Galilee. Large crowds gathered around Him. So He got into a boat. He sat down in it. All the people stood on the shore. Then He told them many things by using stories.
He said, "A farmer went out to plant his seed. He scattered the seed on the ground. Some fell on a path. Birds came and ate it up. Some seed fell on rocky places, where there wasn't much soil. The plants came up quickly, because the soil wasn't deep. When the sun came up, it burned the plants. They dried up because they had no roots. Other seed fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and crowded out the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It produced a crop 100, 60 or 30 times more than what was planted. Those who have ears should listen and understand." - Matthew 13:1-9
We decided for the first time to do a kids-start while the adults were doing adult learning and getting kickstarted into their calling. Followed from children teaching and activation few children then went into the streets of Southport together with Sulata and myself where we learnt quickly that children as young as 5 and 6 can pray for the needs of the local people. With the help of parents of course. Children need to be shown what it means to truly follow after Christ Jesus.
What a fantastic time it was where we saw God in action doing what He always does. Loves on people and ministering to the lost souls. People were touched by the power of Holy Spirit.
What a privilege it is to learn together with passionate men and women over the last 3 months.
It started when we as a team decided to do a weekend kickstart in November in Hervey Bay, 250 kms away from Brisbane. Jordan, Nicole, Tom and Sam and myself and Sulata we saw God’s faithfulness at work.
Followed by Logan kickstart in December 2018 where many were healed and heard the gospel for the first time. Praise God for His unlimited resources. 6- 7 water baptisms, people being filled with Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and healings. One young man was prayed with after a teaching on Deliverence of Demons and violently manifesting where four of us men needed to hold him down while these demonic strongholds had to let go and were cast out of him.
We then decided at the end of January 2019 to plan another kickstart in Gold Coast in February where we saw for the first time new people getting involved with teaching and activation. Young men and women were filled with God’s presence, convicted by Holy Spirit and saw true repentance followed by X 4 water baptisms. This is such an impacting time that we were really looking forward to the move of God’s spirit for the year ahead in 2019. I also heard of testimonies followed straight after this eventful day where there were half a dozen souls come into the kingdom of God, repenting, getting water baptised and getting filled with Holy Spirit Wow!
God spoke to me personally at the beginning of the year two words, that this year would be about His “holiness” and that holiness is what we need to attain throughout our growing to be more like Jesus Christ. Of course second word is “purity” which is also part of living a sanctified life.
Therefore without holiness we cannot see God. Hebrews 12:14 “Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord”.
Two weeks ago we partnered with few other brothers and sisters in the Lord and hit the streets with a street van in the night hour of Beenleigh and again God shows up. People were convicted of their sins and decided to invite Jesus Christ for the very first time in their lives. We gave bibles away to each one and blessed them on their journey where I believe God will send others to minister in their lives.
I personally have witnessed many souls encounter the living God because the word of God is very clear that to the faithful He is faithful. To the merciful He is merciful. To the gentle He is gentle, and to the pure in heart He shows Himself to be pure. “Praise the Lord all the earth and never forget His benefits”.
Prayer does work. Prayer is our weapon to fight big battles. God gives the victory and fights on our behalf. Amen
