Jesus said, "A farmer went out to plant his seed. He scattered the seed on the ground. Some fell on a path. Birds came and ate it up. Some seed fell on rocky places, where there wasn't much soil. The plants came up quickly, because the soil wasn't deep. When the sun came up, it burned the plants. They dried up because they had no roots. Other seed fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and crowded out the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It produced a crop 100, 60 or 30 times more than what was planted. Those who have ears should listen and understand." - Matthew 13:1-9
Jordan and Nicole decided once more to plan a kickstart. This time in Adelaide SA, at Findon Community Centre. I believe many who love God in South Australia were keen to see God move in their city. We saw God use dozens of men and women wanting to serve our Lord Jesus in the capacity of their gifting and calling.
Kickstart training started when we as a team decided to do a weekend kickstart in November 2018 in Harvey Bay 250 kms away from Brisbane. Jordan, Nicole, Tom and Sam and myself and Sulata we saw God’s faithfulness at work.
Followed by Logan/Southport kickstart in December 2018 and February 2019 where many were healed and heard the gospel for the first time. March 30th in Logan/Windaroo was increasing in momentum. And then Toowoomba. Praise God for His unlimited resources. Many began repenting of their sins, were water baptise. We were moved with excitement and godly reverence of how our God was showing up in the most mundane moments.
Numerous people were prayed for on this outreach and touched by God in a special way.
Prayer does work. Prayer is God’s strategy to accomplish His plan. He gives us victory and fights on our behalf.
In His final words before ascending to heavens, Jesus commanded every Christ follower to become a partner with Him in engaging lostness everywhere, with a promise that He will always be with us in that task. So we must begin and sustain that work in much prayer, such as the ones He prepared for a plentiful harvest among our communities with all different nationalities, for God to heal them and deliver them from darkness.
“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.
Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into the harvest.” (Matt 9:35-38)
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
And as you go, preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:1, 7-8)
Many turned up ready to do Kickstart Training on the first Friday evening and following the next day. Few of us decided to fly to Adelaide from Brisbane and assist in whatever capacity Holy Spirit was leading.
Jordan and Nicole had inspired everyone with teachings from the word of God where the gospel of repentance was heard and built much clarity to all those that listened. Obeying the Word of God is crucial and it’s something we’re looking forward to putting into practice around healing and deliverance, seeking out persons of peace, how to effectively share the gospel according to the book of Acts and practical ways to discipleship, laying hands to receive Holy Spirit and water baptisms. Knowledge is good therefore applying the learning takes practice.
After we went out into the public places on the Saturday where believers prayed for the first time and people were healed and heard the gospel, many testimonies were shared when we returned. We were amazed how God was moving upon the Adelaide community. Jordan and Nicole Shared - a young couple who attended were really challenged and motivated. They both got filled with the spirit and spoke in tongues. They have really run with Jesus and have shared with many of their family and church friends. They also have seen people healed and set free after coming to the kickstart and are seeing God move through their obedience. Praise God! Duane Shared - Before I left to go on the Adelaide kickstart I prayed about going and we honestly didn’t have the finances to go as a family. I was losing hope of going when last minute one of my brothers in Christ covered the expense to fly down there - praise God✝️ I specifically asked the Lord to use me in a powerful way and bring a word of knowledge for someone down at the meeting.
It was a tumultuous time getting there as I missed my flight and then had to reschedule through to the Brisbane airport. It was a stressful time as we raced to the airport where I scrapped through by a few minutes to catch my trip down there.
My wife said it was one of the most stressful times of her life driving me there. (Satan tried to stop me)
After a day and a half of teachings and street Evangelism , many people were challenged and set free of strongholds and challenged to commit their lives to the Lord Jesus. Several groups split up for prayer and we gathered together with a group of men where we were going through a repentance talk with a young guy who wanted the baptism of the Holy Spirit- he had never spoken in tongues before.
We took him through renunciation of his previous sins and then just started to pray and he was began to slowing speak his heavenly language as the spirit was ushering in this new gift for him. Wow!
Just over from us in the women’s group - they were carrying out deliverance. I felt lead to go and assist them so I sat in and commanded these strongholds to be loosened from her. There was DEFINATELY a blockage there as demons were manifesting, but not going. The women there started to ask her is it this or that sin that’s preventing a full breakthrough. The lady just got frustrated with all the questions and no no no I love the Lord and there’s nothing there further I need to repent of, she said. Suddenly the Lord revealed to me a word of knowledge for her. I got her attention amongst the calamity and looking directly at her I said “have you had an abortion?”
She stared at me what seemed to be for 10 seconds and she just broke down and sobbed - and cried out Sorry Lord, sorry Lord, please forgive me. Then God amazingly set her free immediately of the strongholds and these demons of death were keeping her bound for many years, were expelled from her. She was able to speak in tongues immediately afterwards and we all cried tears of joy with her as she experienced her new found freedom in Christ ✝️🙌🏼❤️
Later I spoke with her by herself and she said that she brushed that sin under the carpet and tried to forget about it. But the Holy Spirit knew this had to be repented off before she could receive forgiveness and therefore spiritual breakthrough and full regeneration of her soul.
Thank you Lord for your Holy Spirit and how you reveal the mysteries of God through your saints for the building up of the Body of believers and for the edification of the church. Praise God
Tom sharing a brief story. I was catching an Uber from my car hire place to the airport (departing Adelaide) and started sharing with the driver about Jesus and the Kickstart. Anyway he started opening up about his marriage, and I pointed him towards The Last Reformation movie and he messaged me later that he has started watching the movie in his car while at work and tells me he needs to recommit his life to Jesus, it’s the end days. I eventually put him in touch with a local disciple in Adelaide who he was able to meetup with. And I haven’t actually heard yet what happened next, therefore pray for Nathan as God is at work in his life! 😊
It’s amazing to see healings, miracles and deliverances, however the most amazing thing to witness is the simple gospel in action. Men and women learning to be apprentices for their master and Lord. One day we all aspire to be more like Jesus. Thank you Lord God and Heavenly Father for Your Son who came to show us how to love the right way, thank you for Your unlimited power, grace, faithfulness and mercies. Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ our eternal God, saviour and redeemer.
