Kickstart - Logan

That same day Jesus left the house and sat by the Sea of Galilee. Large crowds gathered around Him. So He got into a boat. He sat down in it. All the people stood on the shore. Then He told them many things by using stories.

He said, "A farmer went out to plant his seed. He scattered the seed on the ground. Some fell on a path. Birds came and ate it up. Some seed fell on rocky places, where there wasn't much soil. The plants came up quickly, because the soil wasn't deep. When the sun came up, it burned the plants. They dried up because they had no roots. Other seed fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and crowded out the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It produced a crop 100, 60 or 30 times more than what was planted. Those who have ears should listen and understand." - Matthew 13:1-9

We decided once more to plan a kickstart. This time in Windaroo. At the same time to do a kids-start where children learn about the supernatural while the adults were doing adult training and activities. Children need to be shown what it means to be a disciple.

Children were touched by the power of Holy Spirit. There were many who prayed and seen God’s hand at work. Thanks to Dan Pastoor who came all the way from Tasmania to be with us was leading few Spirit filled songs. Children were really rejoicing and singing and praising our heavenly Father together.

What a privilege it is to learn together with children and adults who are ready to put their understanding gained into action.

Kickstart training started when we as a team decided to do a weekend kickstart in November in Harvey Bay 250 kms away from Brisbane. Jordan, Nicole, Tom and Sam and myself and Sulata we saw God’s faithfulness at work.

Followed by Logan/Southport kickstart in December 2018 and February 2019 where many were healed and heard the gospel for the first time. Praise God for His unlimited resources. Many began repenting of their sins, were water baptised, people being filled with Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and God was really glorified. We were moved with excitement and reverence before a Holy God.

Prayer does work. Prayer is our weapon for success. God gives the victory and fights on our behalf.

I personally began to humble myself with seriousness and conviction towards seeing more of these weekends as a way of life and seeing how prayer and fasting moves the heart of God.

Our hearts are soften towards the lost we intercede and pray. When we want to see the lost being reached with the gospel prayer/fasting and seeking Heavenly Father whole heartedly actually is the real key. I want to share few more testimonies of Logan training in last month in March from how I saw it.

We were expecting over 30 people. We saw almost that number. Some of these names were, Tom, Sam, Andrey, Jordan, Nicole, Samuel, Saul, Frank, Annete, Dan Pastoor, Rasmus, Correy, Emma, Dina, Tes, Odette, Manuela, Bob, Gesele, Brooke, Laura, Luke and over half dozen children.

At 11:00am we went out in different teams. Dan, Manuela and myself headed over to Beenleigh shopping Centre. I first approached few people as was looking for persons of peace. Began to pray for few people and sharing around repentance. Not long after Dan and Manuela were really encouraged as they shared testimony after testimony with dozens of young people. Manuela was praying for these young Hindu ladies who worked at a shop. At first, they weren’t very open to the gospel however after few minutes we preached the whole gospel to them. It was encouraging to see Manuela really engaging with others and sharing her faith and why she believes in Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour. Manuela never was confident, and this was really her first encounter with the locals. She later said even though I’ve recently come to know Jesus Christ I’m committing myself to be His witness and not ashamed of Jesus around others. So amazing to see brand new believers coming out and seeing how easy it is to be Jesus’s hands and feet.

Dan was really inspiring to watch also. It is such a privilege to meet a God-fearing man who believes for great things for people. I love seeing Dan’s heart and learning to be more bold for the King. Keep serving the God of the impossible Dan and Manuela, He has great things for you up ahead. Bob and Gesele showed up just after 1:00pm and we split in teams. Again we shared later how they experienced testimonies in that shopping mall. Again such an encouraging and faithful witnesses for Jesus. Glory to our God.

We headed back to the house where we exchanged many other miracles we seen and heard on the day, wow!

Rasmus also shared his heart and was excited to share what the Lord was doing together with his team.

Sulata wrote, “We had amazing Kickstart opportunities in Eagleby 30th March 2019 with Tess, myself, and Odette!

Numerous people were prayed for on this outreach and touched by God.

A couple of people who attend churches in the local area and love Jesus were filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We had opportunities to pray for a number of youth, healing over a married couple, and shared Cups and Cookies with a Husband and Father of 5 who has been seeking God!

Follow ups and contacts will be made for all those ministered too.

The Harvest of Eagleby is truly ripe, people in this community are so hungry for God, and it is so apparent that much prayer has been sowed into this community, praise Jesus!!!

A family of three children witnessed their parents getting water baptised. They were so convicted of their sin that afternoon, repented, got water baptised and decided to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives. This was an amazing testimony that continues until now with good fruit in their lives. Few faithful men and women discipling Emma and Corey seeing them mature in Christ Jesus even if they live over 300 kms away from Logan, Brisbane. They are showing signs of repentance through consistent prayer and fasting and daily readings of the scriptures. May the Lord continue to use this family for His glory and purposes and His hand be over their lives.

It’s amazing to see healings, miracles and deliverances, however the most amazing thing to witness is the whole gospel in action. Men and women learning to be apprentices for their master and Lord. One day we all aspire to be more like Jesus. Thank you Lord God for Your Son who came to show us how to love the right way, thank you for Your unlimited power, grace, faithfulness and mercies. Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ our eternal King.
