Kickstart - Logan

We had an incredible time together as a team learning to be more like Christ Jesus. God has placed inside of us to equip and empower the people of God for the work of the ministry. We are not just here to do the work by ourselves. Our vision and main goal is to see others come to full maturity in Christ Jesus so that each one can use their gifting God has given each one according to measure of faith we have received. One of my favourite passages is around the parable of the four grounds because it gives us a picture of whether we’re in the good ground or rocky ground and if we’re producing good crop. Some 30, some 60, some 100. We should all be attaining to producing healthy fruit in our lives if our lives are in good soil.

The Parable of the four grounds from one of the gospels. Mark 4:8-20 And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

And when he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables. And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, so that they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven. ‘And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: the ones who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy. And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones sown among thorns. They are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”

Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. Amen.

As Jesus commissions the disciples we too are commissioned also to follow our masters example and follow him.

It’s incredible to see men and women young and old, who have decided in their hearts to obey Jesus’s words. We witnessed on the training day people getting set free, water baptised, filled with the holy spirit, healings and demonic strongholds dealt with. We left the comforts of our homes, off our seats and into the streets. Even our partnering churches in Uganda and Kenya the power of God was manifested and seen God in action on. They were watching live via video zoom and learnt together with us how to preach the gospel, heal the sick and make disciples who obey Jesus. Even young Micah, Chris and Elijah ages 6-10 years learning how to share their faith with others. We pray a continual obedience to Christ as the weeks, months and years the Lord be willing that we will continue in the preaching of Gods kingdom and see lives transformed.

The Word of God is eternal, and is actively at work today therefore let’s have a healthy appetite of it and daily see the need to read, meditate and put it in practice. Obeying Jesus is our Fathers only desire for us, His children.

Men and women gathered in Uganda and Kenya from early hours of the morning to be part of the training day.

· We are being transformed and renewed through the power of the Holy Spirit, who now lives in us. The Holy Spirit shows us and teaches us everything that Jesus has said - He guides us through the Word of God and gives us the power to live out His word. This is a new life from our hearts/spirit, a relationship grounded in love, holiness and trust.

· God wants a people who love Him and are wholeheartedly for Him.

· For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Hebrews 10: 14-17

. . . that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. // Ephesians 1: 4-5

For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. Ephesians 2: 10 AMP

An encouraging word from the Lord.

A dream I had two days later on 14th September that I was in prison and with someone else with me noticed he had battled through some intimidating men who meant harm. I was with him and we were escaping from every obstacle and set ups somehow. They meant to harm us but God meant it for good. Every time God had prepared a way out. And He didn’t allow us anymore than we could handle. “You Lord hold the future and the key to hades”. When you conquered death you took back from the enemy what he initially tried to steal. Finally at the end of the dream we managed to escape many many traps that were inflicted in our direction. We ran and dodged at each turn although not sure how we managed but I believe it was by God supernatural intervention that we were free. God you’re a good God and don’t give us anymore than we can handle. This is an opportunity for us to say Amen. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it”. It’s not that God won’t give you more than you can handle, but that God will help you handle all that you’ve been given.

Isaiah 43:18,19 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
